5-Minute Meditation -- Practical Guide

You have 5 minutes. Can you really meditate in that time?

Yes, but it is short. Enough for a quick reset, not for a deep practice.

5-Minute Routine

Minute 1: Sit, close your eyes, 3 deep breaths. Minutes 2-4: Observe natural breathing. When the mind wanders, return. Minute 5: Open your eyes slowly. Notice how you feel.

Important Tips

  • Use a timer -- so you do not keep checking the clock
  • Same place, same time -- the brain creates associations
  • Do not judge the session -- there is no "good" or "bad" meditation
  • Consistency > duration -- 5 minutes daily beats 1 hour sporadically

Is It Enough?

For daily maintenance, yes. For deeper development, try gradually increasing to 15-20 minutes.

The best meditation is the one you do. Start with the basics and build your habit.
