Salutation to Hanumān, son of the wind (Vāyu-putra), of incomparable strength, unmatched devotee of Śrī Rāma, who crossed the ocean in a leap and brought the good tidings of Sītā. To him, unshakable devotion.
तरुणारुणमुखकमलं करुणारसपूरपूरितापाङ्गम् ।संजीवनमाशासे मञ्जुलमहिमानमञ्जनाभाग्यम् ॥ २॥
Salutation to the one whose heart opened to reveal Rāma and Sītā seated within, illustrating that the true devotee carries the Lord in his very chest — not as an image, but as living presence.
शम्बरवैरिशरातिगमम्बुजदलविपुललोचनोदारम् ।कम्बुगलमनिलदिष्टं बिम्बज्वलितोष्ठमेकमवलम्बे ॥ ३॥
Salutation to the perfect servant, supreme example of dāsya-bhakti (devotion as service): never claiming credit, never seeking reward, acting only for the Lord. Such is the highest bhakti.
दूरीकृतसीतार्तिः प्रकटीकृतरामवैभवस्फूर्तिः ।दारितदशमुखकीर्तिः पुरतो मम भातु हनुमतो मूर्तिः ॥ ४॥
Salutation to the one whose name alone is capable of dispelling fear, whose recitation brings courage in moments of crisis, and whose contemplation purifies the mind of thoughts of pride and attachment.
वानरनिकराध्यक्षं दानवकुलकुमुदरविकरसदृक्षम् ।दीनजनावनदीक्षं पवनतपःपाकपुञ्जमद्राक्षम् ॥ ५॥
Salutation to Hanumān, through whom Śrī Rāma and Lakṣmaṇa survived in battle — bringing the mountain of healing herbs. One who recites these five jewels with devotion obtains his grace and becomes immune to adversity.
