Data Deletion

Under the Brazilian LGPD law and Meta (Facebook/Instagram) platform policies, you have the right to request complete deletion of your personal data stored by the Vishva Vidya Organization.

What can be deleted

• Course, newsletter, and form registrations on the site
• History of direct messages (DMs) and comments exchanged with our official Instagram accounts (@vedanta.soma, @festivaldevedanta)
• Browsing data associated with your account
• Payment information (we keep only what is necessary for tax obligations)

How to request

Send an email to contato@vedanta.com.br with the subject “Data Deletion Request” and include:

• Your full name (if we have a registration with you)
• Email registered with us
• Instagram username (if applicable)
• Explicit confirmation: “I request the deletion of my data”

Response time

We respond to requests within 15 business days, in accordance with the LGPD. You will receive a confirmation email once the deletion is complete.

Data we cannot delete

By legal obligation, we cannot delete:

• Tax records of paid course and product transactions (5-year retention required by Brazilian law)
• Site security logs (6-month retention, anonymized)

This data is kept only for the legal minimum period and is not used for other purposes.
