Material security and resources as a legitimate life aim
Artha is the second of the four aims of human life (puruṣārthas), representing the legitimate pursuit of material security and resources for a dignified life. Artha should be obtained through dhārmic (ethical) means and used as a means to serve dharma and mokṣa.
