Prakaraṇa grantha is an independent text (not a commentary) that addresses Vedāntic topics accessibly and systematically. They prepare the student for the main texts (prasthāna-traya). Examples include Tattvabodha, Vivekacūḍāmaṇi, Ātmabodha, Aparokṣānubhūti, and Pañcīkaraṇam.
