Grace / blessing — what returns from an offering to Īśvara
Prasāda has two complementary meanings: (1) materially, it is food offered to Īśvara during pūjā and returned as 'blessing'; (2) as attitude (prasāda-buddhi), it is serene acceptance of action results as coming from Īśvara. Prasāda-buddhi is half of karma yoga — the other half is arpaṇa-buddhi (offering).
