Absolute level of reality — Brahman alone
Pāramārthika is the absolute level of reality where only Brahman exists, without any distinction or multiplicity. From the pāramārthika standpoint, there is no creation, no individual, no world — only pure, infinite, non-dual consciousness. The spiritual journey in Vedānta consists in recognizing that the empirical level (vyāvahārika) has its basis in this absolute reality.
